Referral Program
Share Prunes Roomie with friends who need a place or a roommate. When they sign up with your code and complete their first paid action, both of you get a free month of Pro.
Program terms
Who is eligible. Any verified Prunes Roomie member in good standing may participate. Referral codes are personal, non-transferable, and single-use per new account.
How credit is granted. When a new user signs up using your code and completes their first qualifying paid action (a paid subscription, listing credit, or contract-draft fee), the platform automatically grants one Pro month to both accounts. Credits post within 24 hours of the qualifying charge clearing.
Attribution. Referral attribution is captured at signup only. Codes cannot be applied retroactively to existing accounts. Self-referral, alias accounts, and coordinated abuse are grounds for reversal.
Expiration & stacking. Free-month credits can stack up to a rolling 12-month cap. Unused credits do not have cash value and are not refundable.
Fair use. We reserve the right to revoke rewards granted through fraud, TOS violations, or chargeback reversals. All decisions are auditable via the `_grant_referral_reward_on_payment` and `admin_revoke_referral_reward` functions and are appealable through the standard support channel.
Governing agreements. Participation is governed by the Terms and the Privacy Policy. Where local law imposes additional consumer-referral disclosures (e.g., the FTC Endorsement Guides, 16 C.F.R. Part 255, or the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive 2005/29/EC), those apply on top of these terms.
