What we actually do
Three things we will never do
We never hold or move your money
No rent collection, no deposit escrow, no payouts between members, no lending. Rent and deposits stay between you, your landlord, or a licensed escrow or deposit provider in your jurisdiction. The only money we ever charge is our own platform fee, disclosed before you pay it.
We never cosign, and we never match cosigners
Lending your name to someone else's debt is a credit product, and credit products belong to regulated lenders — not to a roommate platform. Instead of a guarantor, we help you evidence steady income through a redacted work history.
We never decide for you
We do not score applicants and we do not approve or deny anyone. Identity, safety, and income verification are performed by independent third-party providers; the decision is yours, governed by the law where you live.
Income instead of credit, redacted by default
A credit check exists to tell a lender whether someone can be trusted with borrowed money. Nobody borrows money on this platform. So we replaced it with the question a future roommate or a landlord actually needs answered: is there steady earned income?
Members publish a view-only, redacted resume — job titles, employment type, dates, tenure, industry, and an income band. Employer names stay hidden unless the member reveals them, exact salary is never shown, pay stubs never change hands, and access is time-boxed and revocable per person.

AI drafts jurisdiction-aware terms for your state or country, and you both sign electronically. AI can make mistakes — double-check your documents to ensure accuracy before signing. Money moves between you, your landlord, or a licensed deposit holder; never through us.

Fine print: paying does not improve, prioritise, or guarantee any housing outcome, and it does not influence how any listing, complex, or landlord evaluates you. We never collect rent, deposits, or fees on a landlord’s behalf. Subscriptions renew until cancelled, cancellation is available at any time from your billing page with no cancellation fee, and access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
